Organic Baozhong

 

Our organic Baozhong tea is MOA certified organic tea from Miaoli County, Taiwan. The tea garden has been organic management and certified for 10 more years. Miaoli government selects teas from this tea garden to be one of Taiwan special gifts for people from China.

 

The tea farmer, Mr. Hsu of our organic Bzozhong tea has been selected one of Taiwan top 10 excellent farmers. He is the 4th generation of Jih Hsin tea garden, and has 20 more years experiences in tea growing and manufacturing. And he has won the 1st award in Taiwan organic tea competition. He supplies his teas to TAIT too.

 

Mr. Hsu works with tea farmers in Japan and Korea from long time ago, and that is why he figured out the importance of being an organic tea farmer not only for customershealth but also for tea farmershealth. Due to no pesticides, he has to spend more times to weed in farming, get rid of insects and rare in production. But his tea leaves are natural and healthy. The soil of his tea garden is no pollution.

Wuser oolong tea

Wuser oolong tea ( Hehuan mountain oolong tea )

 

Wu Ser oolong teas also called Hehuan mountain oolong tea are hand picked 2 leaves with one bud Chinxing cultivar from Ren-Ai town, Nantou County. It is light fermented oolong tea, so it keeps more tea benefits, and makes drinkers’ stomachs comfortable. The elevation of tea garden is about 1,300~1,500 m, so it is one of high mountain teas. Due to high elevation and rainy in tea gardens, Wu Ser oolong teas has floral aroma and strong aftertaste. Wu Ser oolong tea is famous and very popular for tea lovers. Although its elevation is only 1,300~1,500m, its excellent quality and rare in production make its price is more expensive than some teas from the elevation of tea gardens above 1,500m. The tea liquid is in the color of golden yellow with a little bit honey taste.

 

 

霧社烏龍茶(合歡山烏龍茶)

 

霧社烏龍茶又稱為合歡山烏龍茶,是來自南投縣仁愛鄉兩葉一心的手採青心烏龍茶種。因為輕發酵所以有綠茶的功效,喝了不傷胃。茶園高度 1300到1500 公尺,所以是高山烏龍茶。因為高海拔及多雲霧的茶園,霧社烏龍茶有天然花香和很強的回甘。很多人喜歡喝霧社烏龍茶,因為產量稀少,所以價格不便宜。茶湯是金黃色帶有蜂蜜的滋味。

 

 

雾社乌龙茶(合欢山乌龙茶)


 

雾社乌龙茶又称为合欢山乌龙茶,是来自南投县仁爱乡两叶一心的手采青心乌龙茶种。因为轻发酵所以有绿茶的功效,喝了不伤胃。茶园高度 13001500 公尺,所以是高山乌龙茶。因为高海拔及多云雾的茶园,雾社乌龙茶有天然花香和很强的回甘。很多人喜欢喝雾社乌龙茶,因为产量稀少,所以价格不便宜。茶汤是金黄色带有蜂蜜的滋味。

 

Alishan Chinxing oolong tea

Alishan Chinxing oolong tea is hand plucked and high mountain tea from Alishan.  The tea plantations in Alishan are located at altitudes of 1,100 ~ 1,300m, the most ideal region and climate to grow teas.  

Alishan Chinxing oolong tea is made from Chinxing tea cultivar grown in Alishan. Chinxing oolong cultivar was imported and planted in Taiwan from 19th Century. Alishan Chinxing oolong has strong flower aroma, sweet taste and unique Alishan smell.

 

Alishan Chinxing oolong can be multiple steeping and still keep its original taste after several steeps. Its tea liquor is in golden color with floral aroma.

 

Alishan is quite famous in tea world, especially for worldwide tea lovers.

阿里山青心乌龙茶

阿里山青心乌龙茶是长在阿里山的青心乌龙制成的的茶种。青心乌龙的茶种在19世纪引进并种植于台湾。阿里山青心乌龙有花的香味及滋味,并有阿里山特有的山头气味。 

 

阿里山青心乌龙耐泡,且多次冲泡后仍保留原味。它的茶汤呈现金黄色,并带有花香。
 

在茶市中阿里山很有名,特别是世界上爱喝茶的人都知道它。

 

Gui Fei oolong tea

Gui Fei oolong

 

Gui Fei oolong tea is also called Honey flavor oolong tea or Tung Ting Gui Fei tea. It is a tea came from Lugu township, Nantou County, Taiwan in 2000. After the terrible earthquake happened on Sep. 21st 2000 in Nantou County, some tea farmers busily worked for rebuilding their falling down houses and had no time to take care of their tea gardens. So most of their tea leaves were bite by small Jacobiasca formosana, and gave these teas unique honey taste.

 

Although Gui Fei oolong sounds like Oriental beauty tea, but they are different in fermentation processing. Gui Fei oolong tea shall undergo the fermentation processing of traditional Tung Ting oolong tea, which need more time to fermentation. Moreover, Oriental beauty teas are from North of Taiwan, and Gui Fei oolong teas are from Nantou County, Central of Taiwan. That is why some people call Gui Fei oolong is Tung Ting Gui Fei tea. So its tea liquor is crystal clear orange color and full of natural honey with fruit aroma.

 

The temperature for making a cup of Gui Fei oolong is about 80~90, and steeping time is about 45 seconds.


 

 

貴妃烏龍茶

 

貴妃烏龍茶又名為蜜香烏龍茶或稱凍頂貴妃茶。它是從2000年的南投縣鹿谷鄉產出的茶。2000年在南投縣的921大地震發生後,部分茶農忙著重建家園,而無暇照顧茶園。致使茶樹被小綠葉蟬大幅叮咬,而使這些茶葉產生了獨特的蜜香。

 

雖然聽起來貴妃茶和東方美人茶相似,但是這兩種茶是不一樣的茶。貴妃茶是用傳統的凍頂茶發酵方式製成的茶,在發酵上需要較長的時間。再則東方美人茶是產自北台灣的茶,而貴妃茶是產自中台灣的茶。所以有些人稱貴妃茶是凍頂貴妃茶。因此它的茶湯呈現晶亮橘色,並有天然的蜜香及果香。

  

貴妃茶沖泡的溫度約攝氏八十至九十度,沖泡時間約45秒。

   

 

贵妃乌龙茶

Formosa oolong tea

Formosa oolong tea

 

Oriental beauty tea is hand-pluck tea and Formosa oolong is machine-reap tea from the same tea trees, Chinxindamo cultivar. So Formosa oolong tastes like Oriental beauty tea. Same as oriental beauty tea, summer Formosa oolong is the best choice during four seasons. Since small Jacobiasca formosana will come to bite Chinxindamo’s tea leaves in spring, and cause either fruit or honey aroma on the tea leaves. Tea farmers will pick up most bitten leaves to make oriental beauty tea, and then machine reap on tea trees to make Formosa oolong tea.

 

Outdoor withering is the only difference on manufacturing processes between Oriental beauty tea and Formosa oolong tea. In making Oriental beauty tea, tea farmers explore tea leaves to sunshine for withering about 4~8 hours in outdoor. But Formosa oolong needs about 16 hours for outdoor sunshine to dry its tea leaves.

 

Due to lower labor cost of machine-reap, the price of Formosa oolong is more attractive comparing to Oriental beauty tea.  

 

 


番庄烏龍茶


東方美人茶是手採茶而番庄烏龍茶是機剪茶兩種茶都是來自相同的青心大冇茶種的茶樹所以番庄烏龍茶喝起來像東方美人茶番庄烏龍茶和東方美人茶一樣在四季中最好的選擇是夏茶因為春天小綠葉蟬會飛來咬茶樹的葉子被啃食的茶樹葉子在夏季製成茶會有果香或蜜香茶農會採摘被啃蝕嚴重的茶樹葉來製作東方美人茶然後用機器收割剩下未被啃食或啃食不嚴重的茶樹葉來製作番庄烏龍茶


兩種茶的製作過程緊在日光萎凋有所不同東方美人茶日光萎凋的時間是4~8小時但番庄烏龍茶則需要16小時曝曬讓它的茶菁更乾燥


比起手採機器採收的成本較低所以番庄烏龍茶的價格比東方美人茶的價格更有吸引力

比起手采,机器采收的成本较低。所以番庄乌龙茶的价格比东方美人茶的价格更有吸引力。

 

 


 


 

Ti Kuan Yin tea

Ti Kuan Yin

 

Ti Kuan Yin is heavily roasted and partially fermented oolong tea from Mutza, Taipei City. TKY from Mutza is the first choice, although there are Ti Kuan Yin tea gardens in Shimen and Sanzhi, New Taipei City.  Ti Kuan Yin is one of tea cultivars.  Unlike other tea cultivars, this tea tree grows sideways instead of up, so it is fewer in production.  Tea gardens are located at 300~350 meters height.  Average annual tea production of Ti Kuan Yin is about 3,600 kilos.

 

The special manufacturing processes for TKY are jamming tea leaves inside cloth bags, repeatedly rolling 2~3 times by hands and the roasting cloth bags of tea leaves under medium warm heat about 10~20 times.

 

Due to fermented and medium warm heat roasted, TKY is suitable to drink especially for medium age or old people and weak stomach people.  Its tea liquor is orange yellow in color.  Clear to see in tea liquor.  TKY can   undergo several infusing and still kept its original taste. TKY tea farmers are researching and continually improving tea quality to undergo annual TKY tea competition and meet consumers’ requirements.  Now Taiwan TKY is good looking in appearance, bright tea liquor and rich taste with strong sweet after-taste.

 

 

 

鐵觀音茶

 

 

鐵觀音茶來自臺北市的木柵區,屬重發酵且半發酵烏龍茶。新北市的石門鄉、三芝鄉也出品鐵觀音,但仍以木柵的鐵觀音為首選。鐵觀音是一茶種。鐵觀音和其它茶種不一樣,它不是向上生長而是橫著生長,所以產量較少。茶園高度在 300~350 公尺。鐵觀音的平均年產量是 3,600 公斤。

 

鐵觀音茶的特殊製作方法在將茶葉放入布包,並用手團揉 2 至 3 次,經過文火複乾 l0 至 20次。 

 

鐵觀音茶經醱酵,文火團揉,中溫焙火,適合中老年人或腸胃較弱者飲用。鐵觀音茶湯色呈橙黃色,茶湯清澈見杯底。鐵觀音茶經多次沖泡,仍能保留原味。因近年來茶農不斷研究改良及受到茶葉比賽、消費者的影響,所製造的鐵觀音有美麗外觀、茶湯色澤明亮、滋味醇厚且有回甘後韻。

Red oolong tea

Red oolong tea

 

Red oolong tea is black oolong tea. From the name of the tea, you can figure out this tea is a combination of black tea and oolong tea in processing and quality, and it is the highest fermented oolong tea.  So Red oolong tea is different from other oolong teas in the processing of stirring and withering.  This tea is easier to make than other oolong teas, and tea farmers no need to work over night.  Red oolong tea was researched by TRES Taitung branch and then successfully put toward the Taiwan tea market.

 

Red oolong tea is suitable to plant at any tea areas in Taiwan. Normally, tea farmers make Red oolong tea by using summer or fall tea leaves.  Most of the tea is hand plucked.  There’s no seasonal limitation and blight for this tea, so it can be promoted to plant in organic tea gardens.

 

Red oolong tea is good for hot or cold brew.  So there’s high market potential for the tea.  It could be machine reaped to be bottle or canned beverage. Due to good for multiple infusions, it is good for making bubble teas too.  Red oolong tea is heavy roasted tea, so it is good to be stored to be aged tea.  Its tea liquor is amber orange red and looks like black tea but has oolong taste. 

 

紅烏龍茶 

從紅烏龍茶的茶名就可得知此茶是結合烏龍茶與紅茶之加工和品質特色所創製的烏龍茶,且發酵度最高的烏龍茶。紅烏龍茶與其他烏龍茶的不同在萎凋與攪拌過程。此茶製程比其他烏龍茶簡易,茶農不必熬夜製茶。紅烏龍茶是由茶葉改良場台東分場研發成功上市的茶

紅烏龍適合在台灣各茶區生產,通常茶農用夏秋兩季的茶菁來製作此茶。此茶多為手採。茶菁不易受到病蟲害和季節性限制,適合推展在有機、無毒茶園。

紅烏龍適合冷泡或熱飲,因此深具市場力。紅烏龍亦可使用機採方式生產,產製瓶裝及罐裝茶飲。由於耐泡,也適合當泡沫紅茶。紅烏龍屬於重烘焙之烏龍茶,可當陳年茶典藏。茶湯顏色琥珀橙紅像紅茶但有烏龍茶的滋味 

 

红乌龙茶 

从红乌龙茶的茶名就可得知此茶是结合乌龙茶与红茶之加工和品质特色所创制的乌龙茶,且发酵度最高的乌龙茶。红乌龙茶与其它乌龙茶的不同在萎雕与搅拌过程。此茶制程比其它乌龙茶简易,茶农不必熬夜制茶。红乌龙茶是由茶叶改良场台东分场研发成功上市的茶

Baozhong oolong tea

Baozhong is also called Pouchong. Baozhong trees are imported from Fujian, China to Taiwan during 19 century. It is a light fermented about 10% and without roasted tea. Due to its lack of green tea flavor, it is often classified as oolong tea, although some people consider it as green tea. Two of 10 Taiwan most famous teas are Baozhong teas: Wenshan Baozhong tea and Longchuen Baozhong tea.

 

Wenshan Baozhong teas growing areas are Wenshan District and Nangang District in Taipei City, also Shenkeng District, Shindien District, Pinglin District, Shiding District and Xizhi District in New Taipei City. The elevation of tea gardens is above 400 meters mountains.

 

Longchuen Baozhong teas plant in Longtan, Taoyuan County. In 1983, Mr. Lee Teng-Hui , former President of Taiwan, renamed the Baozhong tea as “ Long Chuen tea”, since the tea was nourished by the springs in Longtan. The growing areas of Longchuen Baozhong include Longtan Terrace, Dianzihu Terrace, tonluochuan Terrace, Sansuei Village, Sanhe Village and Sanlin Village.

 

The appearance of Baozhong tea is curly strip and in deep green color. It has fresh flower fragrance with rich and sweet flavor taste. Baozhong tea has antioxidant activity, antimutagenic properties and tea catechins. Baozhong tea was found has over three times the amount of these compounds relative to black tea, although it has less than green or oolong teas.

 

包種茶

包種茶的茶樹是19世紀從中國福建引進台灣。 它是 10% 輕發酵沒有烘培的茶。 由於它沒有綠茶的風味,雖然有人認為它是綠茶,它還是被歸類為烏龍茶。台灣前十大名茶就有兩個是包種茶,分別是:文山包種茶及龍泉包種茶。

文山包種茶分佈在台北市的文山區及南港區,和新北市的深坑區、新店區、坪林區、石碇、汐止等茶區。茶園分佈於海拔400公尺以上的山區。

龍泉包種茶是長在桃園縣龍潭鄉 。 前總統李登輝先生在1983年將此包種茶命名為龍泉茶,因為此茶是用龍潭的泉水灌溉。茶區分布龍潭台地、店仔湖台地、銅鑼圈台地、三水村、三和村三林村一帶

包種茶的外觀是捲曲的條索形且帶深綠色,它帶有鮮花香並有甜而濃郁的味道。包種茶有抗氧化性質、抗致突變性質及兒茶素。 雖然包種茶含這三種成分比不上綠茶及烏龍茶,但卻是紅茶含量的三倍。

 

 

包种茶

Tung Ting oolong tea

Tung Ting oolong tea is also called Dong Ding oolong tea, and it is made from Chin Xing oolong, because Jin Xuan is not suitable for medium roast. Although some light and non-roasting Tung Ting oolong teas are made from Jin Xuan cultivar in recent years.  The tea is from Tung Ting mountain,  Lugu (deer valley) of Natou County. Traditional Tong Ting oolong tea is about 30% medium roasted tea, and is about 15% ~ 25% fermented oolong tea. The tea is hand-made by Chinese gongfu in rolling, so its leaves are tight and curly semi-ball. Some people like the smell and taste of roasting, so they love Tung Ting.  For those people like roasting teas, they won’t like fresh and greenish high mountain teas.

 

Tung Ting has good reputations from tea lovers around the world. Its tea liquor is in the color of brilliant golden yellow. Its taste is rich, sweet with fragrance. Also it has strong and sweet aftertaste.

 

凍頂烏龍茶

凍頂烏龍茶是青心烏龍茶種做的茶,因為金萱茶種不適合中培火製作,雖然近幾年來已有輕烘培或不烘培的金萱茶種製作的凍頂烏龍茶。凍頂烏龍茶的產區是南投縣鹿谷鄉的凍頂山。傳統的凍頂烏龍茶是約30%的中火茶,發酵度是約15% ~ 25% 的烏龍茶。此茶是用中國功夫手工揉碾的茶,所以它的葉片呈現緊緻彎曲的半球型。有些愛喝此茶的人是喜歡它的培火味道及口感。喜歡陪火味的愛茶者較不喜歡清香的高山烏龍茶。

凍頂烏龍茶在全球的愛茶人士中有很好的口碑。它的茶湯是明亮的金黃色。它喝起來濃郁的花香氣及甜味,而且有強勁的和甜的後韻。

冻顶乌龙茶

冻顶乌龙茶是青心乌龙茶种做的茶,因为金萱茶种不适合中培火制作,虽然近几年来已有轻烘培或不烘培的金萱茶种制作的冻顶乌龙茶。冻顶乌龙茶的产区是南投县鹿谷乡的冻顶山。传统的冻顶乌龙茶是约30%的中火茶,发酵度是约15% ~ 25% 的乌龙茶。此茶是用中国功夫手工揉碾的茶,所以它的叶片呈现紧致弯曲的半球型。有些爱喝此茶的人是喜欢它的培火味道及口感。喜欢陪火味的爱茶者较不喜欢清香的高山乌龙茶。

 The main growing areas of Oriental beauty tea include Pinglin District and Shiding District in New Taipei City, Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli Counties.   In UK, when Queen Elizabeth II brewed the tea and found it looked like dancing in the water, so named it Oriental beauty.  There are many other names for Oriental beauty tea such as Dongfang Meiren, Bai Hao, White Tip Oolong, Champagne Oolong or Pong Fong Cha. There are 5 colors on its tea leave: white, green, yellow, red and brown. The more white tips on tea leaves, the higher the prices of teas are.   The oriental beauty is about 70% heavy fermented, hand picked one bud with 2 leaves and most of them made from Chin Shin Da Pan. This tea has natural fruit and honey aromas.  The farmers won’t use pesticide to the tea gardens, since they want small Jacobiasca formosana come to bit leaves, and cause the fruit and honey scents. 

The tea gardens of oriental beauty teas are located in the elevation of about 300~800 meters, and have enough humidity and sufficient sunshine, so there’s no pollution for the growth of the tea.  

The tea is unique in the world and rare in production, so its price is higher. 

東方美人茶

Dayuling oolong tea

Dayuling oolong tea is one of Lishan oolong tea, but is more famous than Lishan oolong tea for tea lovers.  Lishan oolong tea is hand plucked one bud with two leaves tea from tea plantations in Li (Pear) Mountain, located in altitude of 1,600 to 2,600 meters.

Dayuling oolong tea is the best oolong tea in Taiwan, and is known as the King of Taiwan high mountain oolong teas.  Dayuling oolong tea plantations are located around 2,565 meters, so it is the highest mountain tea in Taiwan. 

Dayuling is a mountain peak between Hehuan Mountain and Bilu Mountain, and is at the intersection among Nantou County, Hualien County and Taichung County. This area is low temperature throughout the year: the temperature is often below 0 in winter and the average annual temperature is around 20, so it is in a perfect environment for breeding tea plants.

 Due to slow growing in tea leaves, Dayuling oolong is harvested twice a year when the tea grows new buds, so only have spring and winter teas. Dayuling Spring teas will be harvested around the end of May. It is rare in production. The temperature varies much from day to night in Dayuling. Dayuling oolong is thick in leaves, also floral and buttery in taste with strong aftertaste. Tea lovers can figure out the unique taste and aroma of Dayuling oolong tea.

Lishan Oolong tea is hand pluck oolong tea, harvested from the tea plantations of Lishan (Li mountain), located in altitude of 1,600 to 2,600 meters.

Lishan is in the Nantou County between Hualien and Taichung Counties. This area is in the region of low temperatures all year round, so the tea trees are in a perfect high-quality environment for breeding.

 

Lishan Tea is harvested three timesfall, winter and spring, of a year when the tea grows new buds. The production of Lishan tea is low.  The taste of tea is sweet and smooth with a unique aroma of Lishan.

Alishan Jin Xuan oolong tea is made from Jin Xuan tea grown in Alishan. Jin Xuan oolong is TTES no. 12, which is a new successful breed and put forward to market by Taiwan Tea Experiment Station in 1981. Due to its experiment code is 2027, most people call it 27.  It is one of four tea cultivars in Taiwan.

Alishan is quite famous in Taiwan, especially for tea lovers.  Alishan teas are also very famous in the world, and almost each tea lover knows it.

Gaba oolong tea

Gaba oolong tea is a health tea, and a natural tea product that contains r-aminobutyric acid.  The English acronym for r- aminobutyric acid is Gaba.  Gaba tea was found and developed by Dr. Tsusida at the former national research institute of vegetable, ornamental plants and tea (nivot), maff of Japan in 1987.  The tea has to undergo vacuum anaerobic fermentation before the process of panning. Then the glutamic acid in the tea will convert into GABA.  GABA tea means each 100 grams of dried GABA tea shall contain at least 150mg of GABA. The higher the GABA content, the more expensive is the GABA tea. 

 

GABA oolong tea  garden is in Mingjian Township, Nantou County.  The Gaba oolong tea has unique flavor with a bit of sour but smooth in taste.  Therefore, some people don’t like the sour taste, but will like it after several times to enjoy it.

Ever-spring oolong tea ( Si Ji Chun)

Ever-spring oolong tea is also called Si Ji Chun or four seasons (spring) oolong tea.  The tea tree of Ever-spring is a creature of natural hybrid, and was found at a tea garden in Muzha, New Taipei County about 20 years ago. 

 

We can find Ever-spring tea trees all around Taiwan island, from north to south. Ever-spring tea tree is strong, seldom be sick, and can grow around the whole year, so it can be reaped 6~8 times per year including early spring and late winter teas.  Due to massive in production, its price is quite attractive.  Ever-spring oolong teas have machine-reap low elevation teas and hand-pluck high mountain oolong tea.

Milk oolong tea

Milk oolong tea is also called Nai Xian Jin Xuan tea, because it is made from Jin Xuan tea and Nai Xian is direct translated from Chinese for milk. 

 

Jin Xuan oolong is TTES no. 12, which is a new successful breed and put forward to market by Taiwan Tea Experiment Station in 1981. Due to its experiment code is 2027, most people call it 27.  It is one of four tea cultivars in Taiwan.

 

Jin Xuan tea has natural milk aroma and taste, so Milk oolong tea is the tea using milk flavor to blend with Jin Xuan tea.  Therefore, Milk oolong has strong milk aroma and taste. It is a very popular tea in the world, especially in Europe, US and Australia.  Its tea liquid is golden yellow.

Ali Shan charcoal roasted Gaba Oolong tea is hand-pluck tea from the most famous Alishan.  The tea is charcoal roasted by using fruitwood to have a caramelized sweetness. Charcoal roasted can get rid of bitter and un-smooth taste, and advance the quality of taste.Charcoal roasting is the traditional way to roast teas before teas can be roasted by electric power. The tea must be roasted by an experienced tea master and is processing in a room, so the room is full of a charcoal smell. It takes about one and a half days to build the charcoal fire by a tea master. Put tea into a bamboo basket to roast over a charcoal fire. The tea master roasts the tea about two hours, and then takes it off the fire and let the tea rests for 6 months before roasting it again. There is no standard processing formula for charcoal roasted tea, and it is based on the experiences and feeling of a tea mater.

After charcoal roasted, the tea is dark brown in color.  The first infusion has a light smoky flavor, chocolate taste and strong sweet aftertaste.  The tea impresses you from the first infusion, and also attracts you back to it again and again.  Let's try the rare and special treat!

To manufacture this tea is more complex in processes than GABA green or black tea.  So this tea contains GABA is over 300mg / per 100g.  The tea has to undergo 10 hours for three times of vacuum anaerobic fermentation and stirring before panning. Because it undergoes several fermentations without oxygen, the tea contains the most GABA during all GABA teas.

There is ginseng aroma in Ginseng oolong tea.  So many people think this tea is blended with the roots of Ginseng.  But it is not true.  There is ginseng aroma in the tree leaves of Abrus precatorius (red beans).  So Ginseng tea maker mills the leaves to be powder, and then use tea leaves to wrap the powder of Abrus precatorius' leaves or using the powder to cover these tea leaves to make 2 different kinds of Ginseng oolong teas.

 

The tea tastes smooth and sweet with strong ginseng aroma.

Jin Xuan oolong is TTES no. 12, which is a new successful breed and put forward to market by Taiwan Tea Experiment Station in 1981. Due to its experiment code is 2027, most people call it 27.  It is one of four tea cultivars in Taiwan.

 

Because Jin Xuan oolong is fear of cold, so it is planted at the elevation below 1,600 meters: one is planted below 1,000 meters and others plant between 1,000 and 1,600 meters.  It can be reaped six times per year, so it is not rare in production, and prices are not expensive.  The tea grown below 1,000 meters is harvest by machines and hand plucked for over 1,000 meters.

 

The tea has unique natural milk and osmanthus flower fragrance and taste.  It can be steeped many times, milk with sweet taste. There are many female customers like the tea.  It is widely planted in Natou County and Alishan. 

 

金萱烏龍茶

因為金萱茶不耐寒所以栽種高度在1,600公尺以下︰有些金萱栽種在1,000公尺以下有些栽種在1,000~1,600公尺。金萱茶一年可以採收六次所以它的產量不會稀少價格也不貴。栽種在1,000公尺以下的金萱,是機器採收的;而栽種在1,000公尺以上的金萱茶是手採高山茶。

 

這茶有獨特的天然奶香味及桂花的香味。此茶很耐泡,喝起來有奶香及甜味,很多女性喜歡金萱茶。此茶遍植南投及阿里山地區。

Jade oolong tea

Jade oolong tea is TTES no. 13, which is a successful new breed after 30 more years’ research and put forward to market by Taiwan Tea Experiment Station in 1981.  Due to its experiment code is 2029, most people call it 29.  It is one of four tea cultivars in Taiwan.

 

Jade oolong is suitable to widely plant at the elevation under 1,000 meters in Mingjian Village of Nantou County, because its stem has too much water and its leaves are too thick to plant at the elevation over 1,000 meters.  Jade oolong tea can be reaped six times by machines annually, so it is massive in production and stable in quality.

 

There is strong fragrance of Hedychium Coronarium Koenig and strong aftertaste in Jade oolong tea.  Its tea liquid is full of flower fragrance and sweet in taste.  It is very famous and popular in tea market due to its good prices and taste.

 

翠玉烏龍茶

因為翠玉烏龍茶的梗含水量高,且葉片較厚,不適合生長在1,000公尺以上高度的茶園,而比較適合廣泛栽種在高度1,000公尺以下的南投縣名間鄉。翠玉烏龍茶每年用機器可採收六次,所以它的產量大且品質穩定。

 

翠玉烏龍茶有強烈的野薑花香及很強的喉韻,它的茶湯有濃郁花香及甜味。因為它的價格不貴及好滋味,它在茶市很有名也很受歡迎。
